About Us

Sure Projects Australia is a specialist contractor delivering large-scale waterproofing and flooring solutions across NSW. We work with Tier 1 builders on some of the biggest projects in Sydney and are seeking a skilled and reliable Floor Screeder to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mix, apply, and level screeds (including traditional sand/cement and engineered screeds) to achieve smooth, even, and durable finishes
  • Prepare and assess substrates to ensure suitability for bonded, unbonded, or floating screed systems
  • Carry out screeding for tiling applications, maintaining required falls, tolerances, and surface integrity for correct adhesion
  • Apply surface primers, bonding agents, and separating membranes where required
  • Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and mixing equipment relevant to screeding and waterproofing works
  • Interpret and work from site plans, shop drawings, and detailed project specifications
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian Standards, and project QA requirements
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship with a strong focus on safety, curing methods, and long-term performance of screeds
  • Coordinate and collaborate with builders, tilers, water proofers, and other trades as required to meet program and quality objectives
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation highly desirable

Skills & Experience


• Proven experience as a Screeder (essential)


• Waterproofing or tiling experience is an advantage (not mandatory)


• Ability to work independently and within a team


• Strong attention to detail and reliable work ethic


• Good physical stamina


• White Card - Mandatory


• Trade qualifications in tiling or waterproofing – desirable
