Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at Clayton Residential Aged Care. As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for managing maintenance requests, liaising with staff, residents, and contractors.

The successful candidate will have experience in building and facilities maintenance, knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security, and lighting systems. Exceptional customer service and communication skills are also essential.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to prioritize tasks effectively. Experience in Aged Care is desirable but not essential. A current Victorian Drivers license is required.

About the Role
  • Manage maintenance requests and ensure timely completion
  • Liaise with staff, residents, and contractors to resolve issues efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and follow up on outstanding tasks
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Background in building and facilities maintenance
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security, and lighting systems
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize conflicting demands
  • Current Victorian Drivers license
