The role of a Business Support Specialist is to provide high-level support to senior executives and key stakeholders. This includes calendar management, email management, coordination of internal communication, travel and event logistics, and implementation of strategic initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement best practice for calendar optimisation with a strategic lens, priority management and effective time allocation while resolving conflicts and anticipating needs.
- Support strategic initiatives through driving the coordination and supporting the implementation of divisional strategic initiatives while acting as a key liaison between executives and other business functions.
- Provide high level support to the executive and their respective SLT that aligns with organisational goals and strategic priorities.
- Liaising between the executive and key internal stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, sound judgement and professionalism.
- Supporting projects and making decisions that allow the executive to focus on other core priorities.
- Managing internal and external events, such as team offsites, customer forums and leadership meetings.
- Creating and formatting presentations, reports and messaging.
- Partnering with other Executive Assistants to coordinate cross functional activities and company-wide events.
- Organising complex domestic and international travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation, transport and agendas.
- Proven track record as a high level Executive Assistant with a commercial interest and curiosity.
- Demonstrated ability supporting strategic projects, supporting business planning and driving execution.
- Superior organisation, time management and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written communication skills, including preparing executive level messages and presentations and business wide communications.
