At Bolton Clarke, we are seeking an Activities Officer to empower and engage residents in leisure and lifestyle programs. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maximising resident participation and providing high-quality leisure and lifestyle activities.

About the Role

We require an experienced Activities Officer who has exposure to dementia within aged care. You will be responsible for facilitating therapeutic plans, supporting residents to engage in their leisure and lifestyle choices, and assisting staff and volunteers in providing leisure and lifestyle programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and assess therapeutic plans to promote resident well-being
  • Support residents to engage in their leisure and lifestyle choices and activities
  • Collaborate with staff and volunteers to provide high-quality leisure and lifestyle programs
Requirements:
  • Experience in aged care or working with residents with dementia
  • Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle or equivalent experience deemed appropriate
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
