The primary objective of this role is to provide high-quality support to vulnerable families in need.
">- Utilize client-centered case management principles to deliver tailored services that cater to the unique needs of each family.">
Key responsibilities include:
">- Advocating for the rights and interests of Aboriginal individuals, ensuring cultural sensitivity and inclusivity in all interactions.">
- Implementing trauma-informed care practices, as outlined in the Sanctuary model, to create a safe and supportive environment for clients.">
- Fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, government departments, and community members to ensure seamless service delivery.">
Required qualifications and skills include:
">- A relevant degree or diploma in the Human Services field (e.g., Diploma of Community Services).">
- Practical experience working with vulnerable families, with a proven ability to identify children and young people at risk.">
- Expertise in client-centered case management and a solid understanding of trauma, its impacts, and relevant legislation.">
