Role Overview:

CareSouth is seeking a skilled Caseworker to join our team. As a Caseworker, you will be part of a dynamic team that works across the child protection spectrum.

This role involves providing support and services to families, children, and young people. You will work closely with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for vulnerable individuals and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide casework services to families and individuals in need
  • Develop and implement care plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
  • Conduct home visits, assessments, and reviews as required
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Diploma in Social Sciences/Social Welfare
  • Proven experience working with vulnerable populations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a high-performing team
  • Sound knowledge of child protection principles and practices
