
Regional Territory Developer

This role entails identifying new business opportunities within a specific regional or global sales territory.
The ideal candidate will possess 3-8+ years of B2B sales experience in telecom, with expertise in collocation, wholesale, and data transit/transport.
The Global Account Manager is responsible for directly prospecting via calling, email, and other outreach; qualifying and generating opportunities by engaging with key decision-makers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities within the defined territory
- Engaging with key decision-makers to generate new business
- Positioning Cogent services leveraging the global network footprint
Qualifications include:
- Strong prospecting and qualification skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with revenue deadlines
Work environment is in-office five days a week to support success, mentorship, training, and coaching.
Candidates should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and a CRM is a plus.
