About the Opportunity:
  • Responsibilities include managing sales, inventory and driving performance of agricultural merchandise.
  • You will work closely with store management, agronomists and sales teams to provide merchandise support including stock takes, retail operations improvements and on-farm meetings.
  • Input to branch strategies and management of the branch profit and loss statement are also required.
  • Negotiating with suppliers and developing pricing strategies, overseeing stock levels and conducting marketing initiatives to maintain our competitive position are essential responsibilities.
  • Monitoring and analysing market trends, climatic and seasonal considerations are also necessary.
About You:
  • A strong technical background with experience in a similar role is required.
  • Experience in pricing and margin management, sales target achievement through effective category development is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are necessary.
  • Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP and MS Excel for reporting is also required.
