Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Vineyard Operations Manager to oversee all vineyard activities at our Clare Valley site in South Australia.

  • Manage day-to-day vineyard operations, working closely with senior management to achieve strategic goals.
  • Coordinate and execute vineyard planning, including crop management, soil conservation, and pest control.
  • Supervise a team of professionals responsible for vineyard maintenance, pruning, and harvesting.
  • Liaise with winemakers, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the implementation of sustainable viticulture practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor vineyard health and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the winemaking team to develop and implement wine production strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of vineyard activities, including crop yields, pest control measures, and equipment usage.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a degree in agriculture or viticulture, along with extensive experience in vineyard management.

A strong understanding of viticultural principles, combined with excellent leadership and communication skills, is essential for this role.

Candidates should be able to work independently, make informed decisions, and maintain high levels of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
