Job Description:

As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for driving sales and inventory management of agricultural merchandise. This role involves working closely with store management, agronomists, and sales teams to provide support with stock takes, retail operations improvements, on-farm meetings, technical information, and mentoring to encourage improved performance.

You will also oversee stock levels, negotiate with suppliers, develop pricing strategies, and conduct marketing initiatives to maintain our competitive position for all lines.

Additionally, you will monitor and analyze market trends, climatic, and seasonal considerations to inform your decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage sales, inventory, and drive performance of agricultural merchandise
  • Work closely with store management, agronomists, and sales teams
  • Provide support with stock takes, retail operations improvements, on-farm meetings, technical information, and mentoring
  • Oversee stock levels, negotiate with suppliers, develop pricing strategies, and conduct marketing initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, climatic, and seasonal considerations
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong technical background with experience in a similar role
  • Experience within pricing and margin management and sales target achievement through effective category development
  • Ability to network and identify opportunities for business development
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster solid long-term relationships
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Exposure to SAP ERP, together with strong MS Excel for reporting
  • Current Driver's License (Essential)
  • Forklift and heavy rigid license (Desirable)
