Site Supervisor

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Supervisor to join our team at Voith Group. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and optimize work scope to ensure efficient project execution
- Analyze and identify potential safety and quality risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Effectively communicate project plans with subcontractors and stakeholders
- Monitor and report progress, identifying and addressing any deviations or issues
- Identify non-conformities and provide recommendations for corrective actions
- Proactively identify, report, and document scope deviations, risks, and opportunities
- Collect and report One Point Lessons (OPL) and improvement opportunities
- Review subcontractor's labor, materials, and equipment
- Establish and maintain a safe working environment
- Support the site team with quality management, resolving non-conformities, planning inspections, and participating in lessons learned
About You
We are looking for a collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, who is accountable and solution-driven. You should have:
Previous demonstrated experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the field of large hydro power projects or similar industriesProficient technical and operational knowledge of balance of plant mechanical systemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate in English in an international team environmentAbility to work in an underground environment for an extended period, and be comfortable working in confined spaces and at heightsRequirements
- Able to pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol test, and police check
- Must be able to stand, walk, and climb as necessary
