Electronic Equipment Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Equipment Repair Technician to join our team. As an experienced tradesperson, you will be responsible for inspecting and troubleshooting appliances to identify the root cause of malfunctions or breakdowns.

This is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Alexandria, NSW. You will work autonomously but collaborate with Senior Technician/Manager and other tradesworkers on technical tasks.

  • Fault finding and servicing dishwashers, washing machines, clothes dryers, cooktops, range hoods, ovens, and microwaves;
  • Diagnosing, resolving, and repairing all appliance problems;
  • Testing electrical systems functionality and repairing electronic equipment such as control panels, PCB modules, installation, and testing;
  • Reading and comprehending complex manuals and diagrams;
  • Working with wires, using hand tools, and handling small components;

To be successful in this role, you will need relevant qualification plus 2 years' work experience (or 3 years work experience in case of no qualification). You must have experience in electronic equipment repairs, a current/valid driver's license, and initiative and good interpersonal skills. Benefits

This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and opportunities for career advancement. Annual salary will be between $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience.

Requirements
  • Relevant qualification plus 2 years' work experience (or 3 years work experience in case of no qualification);
  • Experience in electronic equipment repairs;
  • A current/valid driver's license;
  • Initiative and good interpersonal skills;
