About the role
We are seeking an experienced Appliance Service Technician to join our team at Norwest Appliance Service in Sydney, NSW. This full-time role will involve providing high-quality repair and maintenance services for a range of household appliances. The successful candidate will be a key part of our dedicated service team, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence. What you'll be doing Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair a variety of major household appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, ovens, and more Conduct scheduled maintenance and servicing on appliances to prevent future issues Delivery, install and removal Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and concerns Order and install replacement parts as required Maintain detailed records of all service and repair work Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards What we're looking for Proven experience as an appliance service technician, with at least 2-3 years' experience in the industry Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills across a range of major household appliances Excellent customer service orientation, with the ability to provide clear communication and advice to clients Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics A friendly, professional, and organised approach to your work A current driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle (if subcontractor role) What we offer At Norwest Appliance Service, we pride ourselves on providing a supportive and collaborative work environment.
