Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a Product Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our customers on how to get the most out of their John Deere technology.

Key responsibilities include coordinating customer demonstrations, clinics, and product optimization days, assisting in start-ups and optimizations of new machinery and solutions, ensuring quality machine data capture, proper machine set-up, and delivery of third-party recommendations, providing feedback on quality control procedures, participating in dealership promotions events, field days, and clinics, maintaining current production practices, latest trends, changes in regulations, and product knowledge of all equipment, parts, and services available to customers, creating solutions to optimize machine performance based on customer requirements, and offering Tier 2 technical assistance to our internal service teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience as a John Deere technician, agronomist, or background in Precision Ag
  • Experience/background in construction/forestry equipment (desirable)
  • Strong coaching, training, and mentoring skills
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused attitude
  • Excellent organizational skills while demonstrating a keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and Sales software tools
