Wylies News agency is a leading retail business located in Temora, NSW. We specialize in providing a wide range of products including newspapers, magazines, stationery, lottery tickets, gift items and tobacco items.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Manager to join our team and help us continue to deliver outstanding shopping experience to our customers.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth functioning and exceptional customer service.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of retail staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and achieve business targets.
- Manage inventory levels, stock control, and merchandising to optimize product availability and presentation.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including workplace health and safety standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and efficient manner.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**
- At least 3-5 years of experience in retail management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Understanding of retail industry trends and customer preferences.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
