Pastoral Care Coordinator Role

We are seeking an experienced Pastoral Care Coordinator to join our team, playing a key role in delivering relationship-based care that values every individual as a whole person.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Pastoral Care Manager to provide pastoral care support to clients in their homes across the South Coast region. They will have a strong understanding and experience of people living with dementia, the impact on carers, and journeys of grief and bereavement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong personal and active Christian faith and church involvement, theological/Pastoral Care qualifications and experience, and demonstrated capacity to pastorally care for and enhance the wellbeing of those in need.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing pastoral care support to clients in their homes
  • Coaching staff and volunteers to support the emotional and spiritual needs and goals of clients, their families, and staff
  • Traveling to provide pastoral care support to clients in other locations on the South Coast
