About the Role:

Job Description

The Youth Worker provides care and/or support to children and young people in foster or kinship care. The role involves enhancing opportunities for young people to participate in age-appropriate activities, supporting development of positive self-regard, community inclusion, positive relations with family of origin, and contributing to placement stability.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Certificate IV or higher qualification in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Youth Services, Community Services, or a related field.
  • Current National Police Check.
  • Current Blue Card.
  • Current Licensed Care Service (LCS).
  • Completion of Hope and Healing Framework training.
  • Current Queensland Drivers Licence.
