We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to join our team as a Youth Community Development Specialist.

The successful candidate will work in our Transition to Work Program, providing education, coaching, and support to youth aged 15-24 to develop the skills needed for sustainable employment or training outcomes. This is a full-time position with a monthly accrued day off based at our Ipswich office.

Key responsibilities include providing one-on-one appointments and group sessions to help young people develop the skills, attitudes, and behaviours expected by employers while assessing any barriers to employment. Administration work is also involved, requiring strong communication and computer literacy skills.

We offer in-depth training, and while previous experience in Employment Services is preferred, it is not a prerequisite for the role. Essential requirements include a recent National Police Check, Working with Children Check, and a current Driver's Licence. A Certificate III or IV in Employment Services, Youth Work, or Community Support Services is preferred but not essential.
