Senior Production Manager

The Senior Production Manager plays a pivotal role in driving project success from inception to delivery.

  • Mentorship and Guidance: Provides strategic support to producers of all levels, fostering growth and development within the team.
  • Project Development: Collaborates with the global New Business team to drive project initiatives forward, ensuring seamless integration with organizational goals.
  • Portfolio Oversight: Leads the management of newly awarded projects without assigned producers, guaranteeing timely delivery and exceeding client expectations.
  • Producer Allocation: Works closely with the Head of Production to allocate new shows effectively, aligning resources with business objectives.
  • Briefing and Reporting: Develops detailed briefs and overviews for assigned projects, providing stakeholders with comprehensive insights into project scope and progress.
  • Progress Monitoring: Closely monitors creative and financial performance of shows managed by junior or associate producers, intervening when necessary to ensure project targets are met.
  • Operational Efficiency: Runs regular meetings with experienced producers to maintain operational excellence and address any challenges arising during production.
  • Status Updates: Attends weekly meetings with the Head of Production to receive updates on project status and discuss strategies for overcoming obstacles.
  • Client Relationships: Maintains strong relationships with clients, escalating issues promptly to prevent potential conflicts and ensuring continued satisfaction with our services.
  • Financial Management: Collaborates with Production Accounts to track financial performance and provide actionable reporting, enabling data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
  • Coverage Support: Provides temporary coverage for producer roles during periods of absence due to illness or vacation, ensuring continuity of service and minimizing disruption to ongoing projects.
  • Strategic Planning: Contributes to the development of strategic plans for current and future film projects, aligning resource allocation with long-term business goals.
