Fantastic opportunity for experienced Locomotive Driver Assistants to join a leading Rail operator based in Sydney, Australia.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Locomotive Driver in the safe and efficient operation of Train services
- Prepare and inspect locomotive and wagons in accordance with operational procedures
- Maintain vigilance, observe signal indications, comprehend their meaning, and apply required behavior to meet operational standards
- Ensure strict compliance to Network Safety rules and regulations
- Qualified Driver Assistant (Second Person)
- Experienced in NSW safeworking Systems
- Current Class C motor vehicle driver's licence
- Ability to work in a dynamic 24/7 shift work environment with flexibility and commitment
- Positive attitude towards safety and ongoing training
- Pass all required pre-employment recruitment testing, including CAT 1 Rail Medical Assessments and site-specific tests/inductions
