Senior Accountant/Assistant Manager Business Services

You will work alongside one of the Principals of the firm, predominantly in the Parramatta office, assisting him to manage and expand his portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing client engagements, working on a range of advisory, tax planning, and compliance matters
  • Supervising day-to-day assignments, ensuring staff are aware of their responsibilities, allocating work, reviewing work, coordinating workflow to ensure maximum outcomes, mentoring, and training staff
  • Meeting with clients and engaging with a range of stakeholders
  • Working on client assignments as instructed by the Principal
  • Participating in practice development and attending management functions

This is a senior-level position within an Australian public practice, requiring 5 years of experience at this level. You must have previous business services and client-facing experience, with highly developed technical skills in producing financial reports for companies, partnerships, and trusts. You should also be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written English communication skills, proficiency with technology and accounting software systems, and the ability to take ownership and pride in your work.

About the Role

This position offers a competitive salary, ranging from $110,000 to $135,000 depending upon your skills and experience. Additional bonus structures are in place to recognize your performance and commitment to the role.
