Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of procurement processes and a proven track record in managing supply chains, ensuring smooth delivery of goods and services to meet business needs.

  • Assume responsibility for the overall procurement function, encompassing both local and international suppliers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, securing optimal quality, pricing, and payment terms.
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse teams to effectively manage stock levels, preventing shortages and overstocking while optimizing cost efficiency.
  • Manage all inbound activities, working closely with carriers to ensure seamless documentation, payments, and shipments.
  • Present regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements.
  • Work collaboratively with management to introduce new products to market, ensuring timely payments and resolving invoicing discrepancies.
  • Enhance procurement and inventory control processes to reduce costs and waste, driving efficiencies across the supply chain function.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by mentoring and leading a team of procurement professionals.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, market shifts, and compliance regulations, mitigating potential risks.

You will require:

  • A degree in business, supply chain management, information management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and attention to detail.
