About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Purchasing Store Person to manage inventory, coordinate purchasing activities, and ensure smooth warehouse operations. This is a permanent position offering stability, growth, and the opportunity to work with a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Source and purchase materials, tools, and equipment as required
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed)
  • Assist with stocktakes and reporting

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or purchasing role (industrial setting preferred)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Basic computer literacy (experience with inventory systems a plus)
  • Forklift license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive attitude and commitment to safety
