Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator

Full-time – Gepps Cross, SA

Bianco Reinforcing is a South Australian leader in steel reinforcement supply and fabrication. We're continuing to grow, and as part of restructuring our Purchasing team to meet current and future demand, we have created a new role to strengthen this area of the business.

This position is ideal for someone with previous purchasing experience who can assist in optimising and refining our purchasing processes. It's a role with genuine room for growth, where you'll be part of building and shaping new systems as we continue to grow.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting the Purchasing team with sourcing and ordering materials

• Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate purchasing

• Conducting stock takes and regular stock checks (not just desk-based – you'll also be on the factory floor verifying what's on hand)

• Helping implement and refine processes using our newly introduced purchasing and inventory software

• Supporting continuous improvement across purchasing and stock control functions

• Building strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply role

• Strong attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach

• Good communication skills – comfortable dealing with both suppliers and internal stakeholders

• Willingness to get out of the office when needed to confirm stock accuracy and support the team

• A problem-solver who can contribute to improving systems and processes

What we offer

• A supportive team environment with genuine opportunities for growth

• Exposure to both office and operational aspects of purchasing and stock control

• Training and development opportunities in a growing business

• Job security with a proudly South Australian company
