Job Description

We are seeking a high-calibre professional to lead the design and evolution of our annual Demand & Energy forecasting framework.

As a senior analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy in Western Australia, ensuring accuracy and strategic relevance in our forecasting efforts.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and respond to evolving energy requirements, developing future-focused forecast scenarios that support decarbonisation and climate resilience.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of energy systems, data analysis, and technical tools such as QL, Python, R, AWS Architecture, and Azure DevOps.

  • Lead the delivery of accurate and strategic demand & energy forecasts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and respond to evolving energy requirements.
  • Develop future-focused forecast scenarios that support decarbonisation and climate resilience.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Science, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in modelling and data analysis within a commercial or business environment.
  • Proficiency in a range of technical tools and platforms, including QL, Python, R, AWS Architecture, and Azure DevOps.
  • A solid understanding of energy systems and delivery.
