Lead Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Security Officer to oversee the management of all aspects of security operations on site. As a senior leader in our security team, you will be responsible for leading by example, providing guidance and support to junior staff members, and driving excellence in security performance.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Manage and motivate a team of security officers to ensure seamless delivery of security services.
  • Security Awareness and Training: Provide comprehensive security awareness and systems access training to new employees, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Security Planning and Policy Development: Develop and implement effective security plans, outlining strategies, procedures, and resources to mitigate identified risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Rostering and Time Management: Assist with rostering shortfalls and manage the submission of accurate timesheets, ensuring timely payment and minimizing administrative burdens.
  • Clients and Stakeholders: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, fostering trust and confidence in our security services.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a valid NSW Security Licence (minimum Class 1A) and experience working with Lenel and Genitec Security systems and Enterprise systems. You should also have demonstrable incident response and management experience, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
