Senior Security Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Professional to join our team.

This role will involve contributing to the security function as a senior team member, delivering all aspects of security risk management and implementation in accordance with relevant frameworks and standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of security principles and practices, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

About the Role

  1. Develop and implement security processes and guidelines in support of policy and standards requirements.
  2. Supervise operational security for the business area, ensuring compliance with local security strategy, policies, standards, and best practice.
  3. Manage security risk assessments and mitigation strategies, coordinating with stakeholders as needed.
  4. Support and manage the security incident process, ensuring timely reporting and coordinated investigations.
  5. Lead and develop a team of security professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

About You

  • Australian citizen, eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Essential).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience in security and/or a defence industry role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of security principles and practices, including the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and company policy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
