  • We are seeking a Senior Security Professional to join our team in providing Commercial and Defence Security advice and education to all Business Operations within a nominated area.">

About the Role:

">

The Senior Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the practical application of the BAE Systems Australia Security and Defence Security practices and processes. This includes carrying out security tasks, coordinating security services, and providing Security guidance and advice to CASG SPOs for specific programs.

Responsibilities:

  1. ">
  2. Ensure the implementation of BAE Systems Australia Security policies and procedures.">
  3. Provide Monthly reports to Program Managers.">
  4. Develop and maintain Security Policies & Plans (SPP).">
  5. Be the first point of contact for security advice and incident response.">
">

Requirements:

">

Australian Citizen, eligible to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 Defence Security & ITAR clearance required.

">

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

">

Strong leadership and management skills.

">

Demonstrated experience in security and or a Defence Industry role, including sound knowledge of the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF), and the ability to inform and understand BAE Systems Australia's Company policy and procedures.

">

Ability to demonstrate understanding and experience in relation to the implementation of security policy and process.

">

Working knowledge of Cyber Security Policy and standards.
