Security Operations Lead

This key leadership role involves overseeing the management of security monitoring, prevention, and detection of technical security incidents.

About the Role

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Continuously enhancing our security posture through proactive measures to prevent, detect, and respond to information security risks.
  • Driving the growth of our security operations capability and guiding a team of security specialists to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Conducting thorough investigations and analyses of security events and incidents from initial assessment to remediation.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement tools for automating security monitoring and tasks.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Leading a team of security specialists to deliver results in technology-driven environments.
  • Developing a backlog of strategic initiatives and ensuring their endorsement with the broader team and Head of Information Security.
  • Proactively identifying and addressing malicious and anomalous activity.
About You

We seek a highly skilled security professional with experience in security operations, information security, technology, or related fields, accompanied by a strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, incident response, and risk management processes.

  • Experience in implementing and operating security technologies to identify, address, resolve, and provide recommendations on security threats, vulnerabilities, incidents, and events.
  • Knowledge or experience with industry-standard security frameworks such as NIST and ISO27001.
  • Knowledge or experience with software development patterns and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of identity protocols and patterns including SAML, OIDC, and OAuth.
