Job Description

As a Chief Social Media Innovator at Wavemaker, you will play a key role in shaping the social and influencer marketing landscape for our clients. With over 250 people working across six offices in Australia and New Zealand, we offer a collaborative and dynamic work environment that fosters innovation and growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for social and influencer marketing campaigns that drive engagement and business results.
  • Collaborate with client teams to define opportunities for social content and influencer partnerships, and shape activation plans that bring big ideas to life.
  • Lead a high-performing team to deliver outstanding influencer marketing implementation and results.
  • Act as the interface between Wavemaker and partners to ensure client campaigns are executed effectively, creatively, and future-facing.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in social and influencer marketing, with a proven track record of delivering engagement-driving strategies and managing large communities.
  • Ability to interpret social platform and influencer research to develop end-to-end organic social and influencer strategy.
  • Highly skilled in activation, with the ability to manage teams in delivering agreed performance on time and on budget.
  • Demonstrable experience in crafting native social ideas for brands and understanding how to leverage paid media for integrated campaigns.
  • A strong understanding of industry trends and a willingness to stay up-to-date on the latest innovations and opportunities in market.
