Sight Preservation Specialist


Description

We are seeking a passionate and compassionate professional to manage our Sight Preservation Program. As a vital team member, you will play a pivotal role in providing guidance, education and support to individuals with glaucoma.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support to individuals with glaucoma, including prompt response to enquiries via multiple channels, regular follow-ups and accurate record-keeping
  • Moderate Glaucoma Support Groups to ensure a safe and supportive community environment
  • Support live webinar events for Glaucoma Patients
  • Deliver pre-sale and post-sale education and support regarding relevant eye health products available through online stores
  • Coordinate a team of dedicated Clinical Students and Volunteers, providing training and support to ensure they can effectively assist individuals with glaucoma
  • Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to promote the Sight Preservation Program
  • Contribute to develop and coordinate a dedicated orthoptic student education program
  • Cultivate partnerships with healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical companies and peak bodies to advance organizational goals
  • Develop relationships with universities offering orthoptics and optometry programs to facilitate student placements
  • Disseminate glaucoma education in collaboration with public hospitals and eye clinics
  • Organize local community education events with health professionals and patients
