Family Preservation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Family Preservation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in helping families navigate complex challenges with empathy and care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a full caseload aligned with program targets
- Building strong relationships with children, families, carers, and departmental staff
- Conducting assessments and developing case plans using the Parents Under Pressure (PUP) framework
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to case reviews
- Participating in professional development and supervision
Applicants should possess:
- A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Community Services
- Experience in child protection and case management
- A strong understanding of Out-of-Home Care (OOHC) and relevant legislation
- Skills in assessment, counseling, and family support
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
