Digital Preservation Lead

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our digital preservation strategy.
About the Role:
This exciting opportunity is focused on developing and implementing our archives' digital preservation agenda. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the safety and accessibility of digitised and digital-born records.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop knowledge of current and future needs of our digital collection.
- Provide high-level support for digital preservation formats, metadata, and standards.
- Manage unidentified digital formats and design new methods for complex digital records.
- Work with IT staff to oversee and test the effectiveness of digital storage solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information studies, archival science, or conservation science, or equivalent experience.
- Australian citizenship and ability to obtain Negative Vetting Level 2 security clearance.
- Experience managing teams and professional networks.
