We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in various settings.

Job Description:

As a Support Worker, you will provide direct support to individuals with varying levels of needs, including personal care, medication administration, mobility assistance, and community engagement.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care services, including showering, toileting, dressing, and more
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist with transferring individuals using hoists and slide sheets, and provide general mobility assistance
  • Perform domestic duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Transport clients to and from designated locations
  • Engage clients in community activities, such as attending doctors' appointments, grocery shopping, or other social or recreational activities of their choice

Requirements:

  • A Working with Children Card
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities)
  • A valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • A Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Commitment to infection prevention and control measures, including the use of PPE as directed
  • A smartphone with a compatible operating system
