Imagery Manager

The Imagery Manager is a key position in our organization, responsible for leading the imagery team and overseeing the daily workflow of photographic tasks.

  • Manage a dynamic and fast-paced workload that supports public affairs, senior leadership, and Defence Ministers.
  • Oversee the management of photographic tasks, handle copyright issues, prioritize requests for support, and liaise with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure technical and metadata standards are upheld, provide quality assurance, and coordinate the timely release of imagery and public affairs content.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide critical imagery support aligned with our mission to inform, engage, and enhance the nation's defence through transparent and effective communication.
  • Deliver high-quality imagery for internal communication, public affairs, and media.
  • Coordinate imagery collation for major operations and events, while also managing the Defence Image Gallery and Defence YouTube channel.
