Local Community Specialist

The role of a Local Community Specialist is integral in building stronger community connections, fostering trust, and delivering personalized support.

About the Role

This full-time opportunity involves working on a flexible rotating roster, Monday to Friday between 8am to 8pm, with some Saturday work.

As a Local Community Specialist, you will be responsible for connecting Medibank's products and services with your local community, providing end-to-end support across multiple channels.

You will take ownership of the customer experience, solving everyday challenges, adapting quickly, and keeping customers at the heart of everything you do.

Responsibilities
  • Support customers across messaging, face-to-face, and phone channels with confidence.
  • Serve your local community and grow lasting customer relationships.
  • Deliver solutions with accuracy and care, taking pride in every interaction.
  • Ensure every product or service is the right fit for each customer, protecting their privacy at all times.
  • Work collaboratively as a team player, stepping outside your role to support peers and explore new ideas.
