Clinical Nurse/Midwife Educator Role
Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse/Midwife Educator to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing and midwifery professionals within our Local Health District.
This position plays a key role in identifying development needs, designing tailored education plans, and delivering impactful training to ensure high competency and compliance across the ward.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver targeted education programs for nursing and midwifery staff.
- Collaborate with unit managers to shape patient care through education and best practices.
- Lead clinical excellence initiatives to empower professionals with evidence-based learning.
- Identify and address gaps in knowledge and skills to improve patient outcomes.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife with AHPRA.
- Relevant post-registration education qualification or equivalent clinical experience.
- Recent extensive clinical experience deemed appropriate by the selection panel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a consultative approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and foster a culture of continuous learning.
