Healthcare Analyst and Quality Improvement Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Healthcare Analyst and Quality Improvement Specialist.

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive individual to drive healthcare improvement initiatives across the district. The successful candidate will use data to lead quality improvement projects, optimize workforces, and enhance service delivery. They will also be responsible for managing a small team focused on workforce planning and payroll inquiries, supporting departments in developing performance indicators, and overseeing compliance with workforce management systems. The role involves stakeholder engagement, resource development, and maintaining a culture of accountability and excellence.

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in healthcare information and performance management, as well as advanced skills in data analysis and software tool deployment. They will also have experience in written analytical narrative, statistical reporting, and data presentation, with a proven ability to interpret complex information rapidly and accurately. Additionally, they will have high-level communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain highly professional, positive relationships with key stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in healthcare information and performance management
