Head and Neck Surgery Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Head and Neck Surgery specialist to manage elective patients with a focus on head and neck surgery and microvascular reconstruction.

Main Responsibilities:

- Management of elective patients in head and neck surgery, including microvascular reconstruction
- Participation in the emergency roster and treatment of Otolaryngology patients at John Hunter Hospital
- Contribution to teaching, research, and multidisciplinary team development across the service

Key Requirements:

- Eligibility for registration as a Specialist in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery with the Medical Board of Australia
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons
- Commitment to medical education, team collaboration, and patient-centered care
- Proactive approach to service development, research, and innovation in clinical practice
