
Emergency Services Specialist

As a key member of a high-performance emergency services team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional fire and rescue operations. This requires a strong ability to respond effectively to emergency situations, promote community safety and preparedness through targeted education initiatives, and develop essential skills through regular training exercises.
Key Responsibilities- Respond promptly and professionally to fire and emergency incidents as part of a close-knit team.
- Implement strategies to enhance community safety and emergency preparedness through engagement with local residents and stakeholders.
- Maintain and improve technical competencies by participating in rigorous drills and training programs.
- Meet attendance standards for emergency responses and training activities.
- Operate complex firefighting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Respect for colleagues, customers, and the community
- Integrity in all aspects of work and decision-making
- Fostering trust through open communication and collaboration
- Courage to take calculated risks and adapt to new situations
- Loyalty to the team and organization
- Australian Permanent Resident Status or equivalent
- Holding a valid Manual C Class driver's license
- Living or working within a reasonable commuting distance from the auxiliary fire station
- Employer's written consent to attend emergencies and incidents (where applicable)
