Job Overview

This role is responsible for responding to emergency incidents, promoting community safety and emergency preparedness, and contributing to the upkeep of station facilities.

Key Accountabilities
  • Respond to fire and other emergency incidents as a member of a team.
  • Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through community education activities.
  • Develop and maintain competencies by participating in regular drills and training courses.
  • Maintain attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
  • Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment safely and effectively.
Requirements
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status.
  • Manual C Class driver's licence.
  • Live or work within a reasonable distance of auxiliary fire station.
