The Transition to Mental Health Nursing Program is designed for registered nurses seeking a career change. This 11-month program offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in mental health settings, working alongside experienced clinicians and preceptors.
Mental health nurses consider the individual's physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs within their lived experience. They support consumers during life crises, liaise with healthcare providers, and provide education on mental health maintenance.

- Complete two six-month rotations across multiple services within the mental health region
Candidates are encouraged to pursue postgraduate studies in mental health nursing upon completing the program.
