As a Graduate Psychologist, you will provide assessment and support for clients' return to work and life after injury. Your role will involve dedicated professional development, a focus on diversity, and collaboration with a team of allied health professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Initial Assessment: Conduct assessment, testing, and brief interventions for job seekers with psychosocial and mental health barriers to employment.
- New Employment Vocational Assessments: Analyze assessments, transferable skills, and recovery support.
- Case Management: Manage initial assessments and case management for injured workers returning to employment.
- Psychological Functional Capacities: Assess and report on psychological functional capacities and complete psychological functional assessments.
- Intelligence Testing: Conduct intelligence testing and reporting.
- Mental Health Impact: Assess and make recommendations on the effects of mental health and medical conditions on work ability.
- Case Notes and Reports: Write detailed case notes and reports.
We are seeking an individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who can demonstrate enthusiasm, dedication, and a desire to collaborate and contribute fresh ideas. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Psychology, be eligible for Provisional Psychology registration, and possess excellent time management skills.
- Master's Degree in Psychology: A minimum qualification of a Master's degree in Psychology.
- Provisional Psychology Registration: Eligibility for Provisional Psychology registration.
- 5+1 Supervision: Eligibility for 5+1 supervision.
- Criminal Check: Pass a national criminal check prior to commencing employment.
- Australian Working Rights: Full Australian working rights.
- Driver's License: Hold a full driver's license, own vehicle, and comprehensive insurance.
