About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Provisional Psychologist to join our team. As a Graduate Provisional Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting clients as they return to work and life after injury.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial assessments, testing, and brief interventions for job seekers with psychosocial and mental health barriers to employment.
  • Develop new employment vocational assessments, transferable skills analysis, and recovery support strategies.
  • Manage cases for injured workers returning to employment, assessing and reporting on psychological functional capacities and completing psychological functional assessments.
  • Administer intelligence testing and provide reporting services.
  • Evaluate the effects of mental health and medical conditions on work ability and make recommendations accordingly.
  • Maintain detailed case notes and reports.
  • Support adult clients from diverse backgrounds, including those with adjustment to injury and vocational challenges.
  • Collaborate with a team of allied health professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in Psychology is required for this position.
  • Eligibility for Provisional Psychology registration with AHPRA upon graduating is essential.
  • 5+1 supervision eligibility is necessary for professional development.
  • A recent graduate or one graduating in 2025 is preferred.
  • A national criminal check prior to commencing employment is mandatory.
  • Australian working rights are required.
  • A full driver's license, owned vehicle, and comprehensive insurance are necessary for travel.
  • Effective communication, attention to detail, and time management skills are essential.
