Lead Transmission Engineer

Deliver high-voltage transmission projects across the country as a Senior Electrical Engineer.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have proven experience working on protection/control systems in transmission networks, relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Bachelor of Engineering), and CPEng or working towards it.
- Develop specifications, schematics, and functional logic diagrams for HV substation projects.
- Work closely with HV electrical, primary/secondary, and drafting teams to deliver quality results.
- Support commissioning and site integration of systems, managing quality, documentation, and compliance with technical standards.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience working on protection/control systems in transmission networks.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Bachelor of Engineering).
- CPEng or working towards it.
- Membership (or eligibility) with a relevant engineering body.
- Solid understanding of substation SCADA, PLC, HMI, and protection relays.
- Strong experience with relevant standards (e.g. AS/NZS 61850).
What you'll bring is valuable knowledge, skills, and experience in electrical engineering.
