Electrical Engineering Expert Wanted

We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working on protection and control systems in transmission networks.

The role involves delivering high-voltage transmission projects across the country, with a focus on substations and energy infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing and developing specifications, schematics, and functional logic diagrams, as well as supporting commissioning and site integration of systems.

To succeed in this role, you will need a proven track record of working on complex electrical engineering projects, relevant tertiary qualifications, and certifications such as CPEng or membership with a relevant engineering body.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to take ownership of the control systems scope and make a significant contribution to our team's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality design packages for HV substation projects
  • Develop specifications, schematics, and functional logic diagrams
  • Collaborate with HV electrical, primary/secondary, and drafting teams
  • Support commissioning and site integration of systems
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working on protection/control systems in transmission networks
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Bachelor of Engineering)
  • CPEng or working towards it
  • Membership (or eligibility) with a relevant engineering body (e.g. Engineers Australia)
