  • We have established partnerships with major corporations, education providers, and government agencies, serving over 500,000 eligible members across multiple countries.
  • Our Response Network consists of trained Sonder Responders who provide in-person support to our members, working closely with our Support Centre to ensure seamless coordination.

About the Role

As an Active Care Specialist at Sonder, you will be part of our Response Network, employed in a casual capacity. You will work a flexible, 24-hour on-call roster, with the opportunity to enjoy a healthy work-life balance while being generously compensated for your services.

You will also contribute to the growth and expansion of our network in Australia, leveraging your decision-making skills, empathy, and experience in response and crisis management to make a positive impact.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Assisting the Response Network Manager in conducting stakeholder engagement and operational procedures.
  • Nurturing partnership relations and providing input to operational processes.
  • Providing emergency and non-emergency support responses as required, ensuring the success of our Response Network.

Requirements

We are seeking experienced individuals from military, law enforcement, mental health, or emergency services backgrounds who share our passion for delivering exceptional support to those in need. As an ideal candidate, you should possess:

  • Recent or current experience in emergency services or related fields, along with a strong network of contacts in the local area.
  • A high level of self-awareness, motivation, and self-management, enabling you to set priorities and make quick decisions in critical situations.
  • The ability to work a flexible, on-call roster and adapt to diverse scenarios.

Educational qualifications and relevant certifications are preferred but not essential. We encourage applications from candidates who can demonstrate their capabilities and enthusiasm for this role.
