Salary and Benefits

The Occupational Therapist position offers a competitive salary range of $100,210 - $112,222 per annum, plus a generous total effective package of up to $135,978 per annum.* This includes base salary, district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax saving from salary packaging options.

About the Role

The Occupational Therapist provides safe and high-quality occupational therapy services for clients within the Central Australian community. Services are predominantly delivered through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP). The therapist will support clients to optimize self-care and participation in functional activities to enable independence and social participation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver occupational therapy services with a focus on cultural responsiveness and client-centered care.
  • Support clients to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working in a community health setting, preferably in a remote or rural area.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
