We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Care Specialist to join our team in the Northern Territory of Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality oral health clinical services to eligible client groups, both adults and children, in urban, rural, and remote areas.
Company OverviewThe Oral Health Service in Central Australia provides a range of oral health services, community education programs, and targeted services to clients with chronic diseases and special needs. We are accredited with the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards and collaborate with research institutions in multi-centre research programs.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate can expect a salary package ranging from $142,092 to $196,194 per annum, including generous allowances and salary packaging options. For more details on allowances, please refer to Schedule B (page 84) of the 2022-2026 Dental Officer's Enterprise Agreement.
ResponsibilitiesDental Officers at OHSCA provide quality oral health clinical services in accordance with agreed policies, protocols, and procedures. They deliver high-quality comprehensive clinical services while maintaining accurate and complete electronic client records. Senior dentists actively contribute as members of the oral health team, supervising students, providing advice to staff, and participating in service planning, development, and evaluation.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in dental care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You must also be willing to continuously develop and maintain a high level of clinical knowledge, skills, and competence in acute and primary oral health care.
