Technology Law Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Law Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for advising clients on a wide range of technology-related legal matters, including data privacy, cybersecurity, and intellectual property.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising clients on technology law matters, including drafting and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other documents.
  • Providing strategic guidance on emerging technology trends and their legal implications.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Developing and maintaining expertise in technology law, staying up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualifications:
  • 5+ years PQE within top-tier private practice, further in-house experience highly regarded.
  • Deep understanding of technology law and experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian data privacy laws and regulations, including the Privacy Act.
  • A commercial and pragmatic approach with excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Must have full Australian working rights and be admitted to practice law in Australia.
